Rapid Descent Workshop is a Hunter based bicycle repair workshop, with booking by appointment only. Servicing all styles and types of bicycles, specialising in Mountain Bikes. We cater for all scales of your repair and servicing needs including suspension and custom wheel building. We also build and service bikes purchased online and can offer expert and experienced advice across all levels and platforms of cycling. At Rapid Descent Workshop, we also cater for E-Bikes and are Bosch certified technicians.

THE MAN BEHIND
THE TOOLS
Rick Boyer is the man at Rapid Descent Workshop which officially kicked off in 2020 but has been working in the bicycle industry since 1997, there isn’t much that he hasn’t done or achieved either professionally or on the race track. Along the way his career has evolved into being a national sales manager, brand manager, owner of his own distribution business, but has always been on the tools the whole time.
Having ridden mountain bikes and raced Downhill at the highest level for over two decades collecting some silverware for the trophy cabinet along the way. This is a key component of understanding the relationship between the rider and their bike and how to get the most out of it.
