ABOUT RAPID DESCENT WORKSHOP
Rapid Descent Workshop is a Hunter based bicycle repair workshop, with booking by appointment only.
Servicing all styles and types of bicycles, specialising in Mountain Bikes. We cater for all scales of your repair and servicing needs including suspension servicing and set up, race tuning and custom wheel building.
We also build and service bikes purchased online and can offer expert and experienced advice across all levels and platforms of cycling. At Rapid Descent Workshop we cater for pedal assist E-Bikes and are Bosch certified technicians.

Our range of services offer a comprehensive way of looking after your bike. They are tailored to meet your individual and mechanical requirements.

Specialist offerings for suspension servicing, tuning and set up is also a critical component that can be done standalone or as part of a service. This also includes your beloved and often neglected dropper post.

We love building wheels, its a process we have been passionate about since learning the craft in the late 90's. We offer a fully custom wheel building service using all of your favourite trusted brands - Pillar, DT, Hope, Chris King, CrankBrothers and many more.

If you are a budding home mechanic we can do as little or as much as you need on your bike for you and focus only on things you don't feel comfortable or want to do. Its easy to let us know exactly what you're after even if its just a brake bleed or putting on a new part.

E-bikes are more than welcome and we are Bosch certified technicians. We'll get your (legal) pedal assist E-Bike cranking along again as well.
